The digital 1 slr photography courses in Reading are our most popular photography course. The sessions are very hands on and start with a briefing on the cameras basic controls, an introduction to the theory behind exposure and then we head off for some practical hands on shooting to demonstrate everything we learned. The course will cover the exposure triangle of shutter speed/aperture/ISO, white balance and exposure compensation. We also cover basic composition and photography techniques.
There is nothing like putting principles into practice in a small and friendly group with an instructor their to answer all your questions as they arise. We encourage students to ask questions throughout the sessions as we can then demonstrate on your own camera. We meet in the basement of Cafe Nero in the Covered Market – please ensure you bring a digital slr camera or compact camera capable of shooting in manual mode such as a Canon G11. Please dress for the weather as after our briefing we will be out and about putting it all into practice.
